What We Do

Ventura has been servicing marketers and their agencies since its founding in 1971. In 1984, the company was acquired by Mickelberry Communications, Inc., a privately owned investment firm with diverse holdings in the communications service business.

Our clients are marketers in industries spanning finance, publishing, packaged goods, direct response, lotteries, government agencies and advertising and sales promotion agencies in the United States, Canada and Europe. They hire us for services ranging from the development and execution of individual programs to year-round planning and consulting.

We've worked with numerous clients over the past 30 years developing innovative promotion techniques. By pioneering ''umbrella'' prize structures, million dollar and random draw co-op sweepstakes, the use of tie-in partners and other devices, we've helped increase sales while saving them money.

We have conducted sweepstakes, contests and games on various interactive levels (Television, CD-ROM, and the Internet). Our online promotions allow interactivity and immediate gratification for consumers and provide successful and prosperous results for our clients.

  • Multicultural Marketing

The technology of today and tomorrow increasingly provides for tremendous global communication, and many of our clients now target the international market. We have worked with commercial offices of embassies, administered international sweepstakes, and promoted brand sales to specific ethnic groups. Other examples include executing a national Hispanic modeling contest to strengthen ties between our cosmetics client and the Hispanic market; as well as administering a sweepstakes, aimed to increase viewership on a national ethnic cable network. In addition, Ventura executives are frequent speakers on the global marketing circuit.
