Project: Joint Raffle Campaign
Assignment: Lend legal and administrative expertise in the creation of a raffle campaign that would allow the participation of various small and medium-sized nonprofit organizations across the United States and Canada. The raffle needed to be in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Results: Working with the sponsor and outside legal counsel, Ventura developed a co-op promotion that would allow the nonprofits to offer a generous prize package to their respective target audiences without each one having to independently fund the campaigns. All participating organizations reported an increase in donor base, higher fundraising results and a much larger return on investment than in any similar campaign in the past. In fact, over $1,000,000 was raised in support of the various organizations, and all participants are interested in future campaigns.
