MARLA ALTBERG - Chief Executive Officer
As Ventura’s CEO, Marla leads the continued growth of the company and establishes the strategic direction of its
business practices and ethics. She also spearheads Ventura’s new product development team which creates innovative
promotional opportunities such as the Million Dollar Pick ‘Em Quick Game and a host of social networking and text-to-win
promotions. She continues to have primary responsibility for several prominent client relationships, including New Jersey
Natural Gas, Bonnier, Universal Music Group, Qualcomm, Time Inc., American Express, Kronos, Verizon, AEGON, L’Oreal and
Saks Fifth Avenue, among others. Prior to her rise through the ranks at Ventura, she was a Sales Promotion Executive at
DDB where she developed engaging promotions for American Greetings, Hershey and Mobil.
AL WESTER - President
Since he joined Ventura in 1984, Al has worked in some capacity on the majority of Ventura's promotions, from account
coordinator all the way up to SVP/Director of Operations. As Ventura's President, he is responsible for the management
of the agency, and continues to help plan and organize the operational issues inherent in sweepstakes, games and
contests. Al is also a pivotal player in our more technically-oriented programs, leading staff and clients through the
constantly-changing technology for more effective handling of their respective programs, and the use of emerging
promotional applications in both traditional and new media.
LISA MANHART - Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
Before joining Ventura, Lisa took her MBA from Columbia University into the world of Brand marketing, establishing
herself as a marketing pro at many leading corporations including Colgate, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Chesebrough-
Ponds, and Clairol. Lisa has planned, developed and managed an astonishing number of award-winning programs
for all kinds of clients – including the New York State Lottery, Colgate Palmolive, Panasonic, Office Depot,
The Promotional Edge and Mark Burnett Productions.
ORLANDO SANTIAGO - Senior Vice President, Account Director
Orlando joined Ventura Associates after attending the New York Institute of Technology and working in the
apparel industry. Over the years, he has worked with companies such as: American Express Publishing, Emirates,
Saks Fifth Avenue, Citigroup, GameStop, White Castle, Universal Music Group, Time Inc., Qualcomm and Estee
Lauder. His knowledge of the latest legislative activity and compliance issues within the United States and
abroad including: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, and United
Kingdom is sought by clients who want to explore new global marketing and promotional frontiers.
NIGEL MORGAN - Chief Financial Officer
Nigel is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Ventura for over twenty-four years. He serves on the audit committee
of the Collegiate Church Corporation, is an advisor to Share the Care Giving and a member of Marble Collegiate Church and
Men’s Ministry. Before joining Ventura, Nigel worked in financial positions in the advertising, travel, entertainment and
public accounting sectors, all of which have proven helpful in various facets of Ventura’s promotions business.
He and his wife live in New York City.
